#2
Brett Taylor

Junior
5-8 - Guard
Billings, Montana

Coach Pfeifer on Taylor: “Brett is extremely accurate from behind the arc. Moving the line back last year certainly did not impede his ability to make 3-point shots. As he continues to play with reckless abandon on the defensive end of the floor, his impact will be even greater.”

2007-08: Played in all 29 games and started 11 as a true freshman…fourth on the team in scoring at an 8.2 clip…third on the team in assists with 35…led the team with 62 made 3-pointers…third on the team in field goals made with 72…one of six true freshmen to see significant minutes last season…averaged third-most minutes at 26.6 per game…scored a career-high 16 points against Colorado Christian (12/17)…knocked down four 3-pointers four times last season and had a career-high five assists against Nebraska-Omaha (12/23).

Billings West High School: Earned three letters for the Golden Bears...as a junior and senior he was named first team all-conference and all-state...named team MVP and selected to the Montana-Wyoming All-Star game as a senior...an a junior and senior, West won the AA Eastern Conference title...as a senior he averaged 15 points, 2.7 assists, and 1.6 steals per game.
